Mietta's Review
On the edge of Moseley square is the westward-facing Lungomare, a sleek, streamlined restaurant with a wood-fired oven and a basic menu of starchy staples: pizza, pasta, calzone, focaccia, to which is added a selection of interesting daily specials.

Other published opinions

Adelaide Advertiser 2006 "Glenelg had sideshows, a car park at the end of Anzac Highway and a dearth of eating options when Lungomare first opened and established itself as the Bay's Italian restaurant of choice. Since then it has moved into much bigger premises but still has a queue waiting for tables on a busy night."

Adelaide Advertiser Tony Baker 7/9/05 "Nowhere is the passing parade observed to better effect than at Lungomare on the city side looking across the square to sand, sea and jetty. It is much livelier, if not as swish, as all the nearby new stuff. Lungomare is mainly straightforward, tables and chairs in the sheltered open, a capacious dining room and watch-them-work kitchen within. Likewise the comestibles, every kind of coffee, well-chosen wines and mounds of pizza and pasta, calzone and focaccia in portions that cater for those who fast for a week before going out for a meal."

The Adelaide Advertiser 7/4/04, mentioned as open all day during Easter.

The Adelaide Advertiser 28/4/04, mentioned for vegetarian pizza.
