Mietta's Review
Unremarkable until you walk through the door, this small bistro is a speck of France in Adelaide. The food is honest and carefully cooked, and features many staple dishes of French homestyle cooking including omlettes, croque-monsieur and poulet a l'estragon. French music, French wine and fair prices combine (with the cooking) to create an ambient and pleasurable dining experience.

The Adelaide Advertiser 11/1/06 "The Corner Bistrot is popular with Adelaide's small enclave of French expats. On our visit a particularly suave looking gent, with a rich accent, was pouring water from a jug into his glass of Pernod. Tres French." 7/7/04, A perfect little corner cafe so like thousands of little restaurants in regional France it's uncanny. Owner/chef Viv Larosa's traditional French dishes are simple, fresh, house-made classics.
