Tucked away in the Central Market, Lucia's is an Adelaide institution. Good, consistent Italian dishes, the location, and the always open hours of business means that sooner or later everyone comes here and enjoys its unpretentious charm. Lucia died in 2002 but the place goes on just the same under the management of her daughters. Dark stained 60s woodwork, small unchanging list of old fashioned pastas ($6.90-$7.20) and coffee, coffee, coffee ($2.20-$2.60). Cosy tables inside and immersed in the bustle of the market outside.
