Mietta's Review
Much awarded and long standing restaurant with a menu that doesn't change and a loyal, well heeled clientele who like it that way. Beautifully done, refined Swiss dishes. It has a good wine list and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Other published opinions

The Adelaide Food Guide 2010 "There is something eminently reassuring about Leo Schadegg's Swiss-influenced, corner eatery where the menu changes hardly at all, the service is swift and attentive and the leather chairs so comfortable, you'll be settling in for the long haul, culminating in an extravagant dessert followed by a liqueur coffee (the 'Big Sleep', a heady mix of Cointreau"

Adelaide Advertiser 13.5/20 Tony Love 6/7/05 "A landmark in Adelaide dining that's probably considered passe by the cognescenti these days, though it still offers a safe, solid meal for business and family."

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004, Good vegetarian options,'The business community loves Alphutte...with excellent service and a non-threatening menu that nevertheless demonstrates the occasional flash of imagination...There's no wine list as such, but you can browse the celler racks yourself.'
