Mietta's Review
Need a pit stop? A motoring enthusiasts dream, styled as a modern garage, with terrazzo floors and complete with top of the line automobile. The well-chosen Italian/Australian menu changes often, a factor that the numerous regulars appreciate. Great coffee, great service, and gourmet food at very reasonable prices - why wouldn't you drive in?

Other published opinions

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "Not a table spare at i 2.45pm, Vroom's lunch specials might be the drawcard but it's the quality of the food and smooth, warm service that keep them coming back"

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2007 "The expanded outdoor dining area gives plenty of room to focus on your foodie adventure, whether you choose sand crab lasagne with dill and caper salsa or wattleseed-marinated kangaroo"

Courier-Mail Cafe Alison Cotes 28/2/06 score Food: 15 Service: 15 Ambience: 13 - Value for money: 17 "Fred Roberts, the cheery co-owner of Vroom, knows that many Valley people get up late, so the breakfast menu extends to 11.30am during the week, and until 3pm at weekends. That means you can have your protein-packed breakfast shake, made of fresh fruit, milk, wheatgerm, protein powder and honey ($4.95), just when the lack of sleep is starting to hurt; or scrambled egg whites with avocado, tomato and shallots on wholemeal toast ($10.95) well beyond the customary hour if the very thought of fat is unacceptable."
