Mietta's Review
This was one of the early entrants to the Emporium development Lots of seating outside under the great awning of the Emporium complex at which to enjoy your thin based pizza. Early glitches seem to have been overcome and you can takeaway if time is of the essence. The service is warm and attentive. Prices are reasonable- mains average $20.

Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide 2009 Queensland "There is a valid school of thought that Capri does the best pizzas in town"

Brisbane Times Score: 12/20 "It's no surprise that this smart Italian cafe is right at home in The Valley's chic Emporium precinct. Alfresco seating dominates, stainless-steel outdoor tables making way for a "classic" Italian interior of dark timbers and black-and-white photos"

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "This is a great place to go for convenience and speed when you are not looking for the full restaurant experience offered by its neighbours at Emporium and you are tired of carb-heavy panini and ciabatta"

Brisbane News Tony Harper, 19-9-2007 Score: Food 7.5, Wine 6, Service 7.5, Ambience 7.5 "At Capri, pizza chef Sanela Adzanela treads carefully between some modern variants and traditional pizzamaking, using a dough recipe she learnt in Naples. ... Front of house at Capri is headed by brothers Denis and Mirsad Adzanela, and their constant presence keeps the service brisk and attentive. The space is dominated by a deep, red velvet curtain that runs the length of one wall and adds a touch of luxury. It's half indoors and half alfresco, making it resilient to the vagaries of weather."

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2007 "Winner of Gourmet Traveller's best pizza in Brisbane for 2006, this place knows its dough"

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 "Each restaurant in the new Emporium complex has its own specialty and Capri is no different. Classic thin based pizzas are the order of the day in this modern cafe complete with shimmering curtains"

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "The brothers had various roles at many of Brisbane's upper-end restaurants before opening their place. Their mother, Sultana, and Mirsad's wife, Sanela, both chefs, also are involved. Housed in the new Emporium development with seating indoors and out, it offers mixed cuisine styles"
