An old surf shop beside the river has been transformed into a delightful restaurant, much to the joy of locals. The setting at Currumbin Creek is casual and fresh; food is innovative and always a surprise, with cuisine style ranging from Creole to Cajun, Pacific Rim to French influence, generous in serving size and served with pleasant good humour. Mains include Salt and Pepper Prawns, Bayou Chicken Gulai, Bourbon and Orange Roasted Duck and Southern style BBQ Pork Ribs. For those who have religiously followed chef Steven R. Holbert - the Big Kahuna is still on the dessert menu!
