Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide 2009 Queensland Score: 15/20, One Hat "Among the hustle and bustle of the main shopping street of Coolum is the kind of restaurant you would like to find in every suburb"

Gourmet Traveller 2009 Australian Restaurant Guide "As you sow, so shall you reap' is a useful maxim but at Harvest you're guaranteed wonderful food and something decent in your glass whether you've been naughty or nice"

Brisbane Times Score: 13/20 "Harvest radiates a breezy Sunshine Coast charm, not least thanks to its location opposite Coolum Beach. The minimalist decor combines French bistro chic with a laidback Aussie milkbar feel, its all-white, upmarket plastic tables adorned with a single tealight candle"

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 Score: 15/20, One Hat "The main shopping strip of Coolum, 20 minutes' drive south of Noosa, boasts the usual line-up of cafes, tourist shops and fish and chipperys, much like you would expect to find on any seaside strip on the eastern seaboard"

Gourmet Traveller 2008 Australian Restaurant Guide "Harvest s the pick of this busy seaside strip. Don't be misled by the casual ambience; this is a serious kitchen turning out thoughtfully crafted beachy fare"

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2007 "In a little more than a year, Harvest has made its mark on the Sunshine Coast's dining scene"

Gourmet Traveller 2007 Australian Restaurant Guide "Chef/owner Gary Skelton brought a sharp brand of contemporary fare to Noosa from Sydney when he opened up Season. Now he's serving his trademark dishes further south in Coolum Beach at Harvest - barbecued seafood antipasto and the seriously moreish roast lamb and shaved eggplant pizza as well as lots of other vibrant flavours."

Lizzie Loel, 16-2-2007 Score Food: 16 Wine: 15 Service: 16 Ambience: 15 "Skelton's new restaurant, Harvest, sits in a complex shared with TV fisherman Phippsy, whose eponymous seafood diner is next door. Protected from the elements by roll-down clear blinds, the place opens on all sides when weather permits, allowing ocean views from most seats. Moulded chairs and bare tablecloths are furnished with cloth napkins and in winter the place has a snug feel that I imagine would be replaced by an airy ambience on summer nights. As the new name Harvest suggests, the food remains seasonal ... Skelton gets it right when it comes to beachside dining regardless of the season. No tricks, just great food."
