Built on a grand scale by Harry Corones (originally from Kythera, Greece) in the 30's. Handsomely proportioned rooms, huge foyer, massive and rather empty bar; fireplaces and pictures everywhere of 'Poppa' as he came to be known and of his family. Poppa's memory lives on, if a bit palely. The a la carte dining room is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings. The extremely limited wine selection is hidden in the hotel's remote bottle shop.
