Padded vinyl banquettes, made up of chocolate and caramel squares, run around the restaurant walls, one of which is covered by an enormous crinkled brown curtain, like a giant Flake bar, which slides luxuriantly down the six-metre drop. Huge, drum-like lightshades dangle from the ceiling, the floor is tiled with sandstone, the tables are white, the chairs curved blonde wood. The venue is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the unpretentious menu treads a very safe, almost retro path as if it fears it will easily offend."
