In 2004 Swiss born, Raymond Venzin's Ban Sabai cooking school and Mons Restaurant became one. Mon still cooks in the high-ceilinged airy restaurant and the cooking classes are held there on the first and third Saturday of the month. In 06 mains averages $20.
