Indian food and inviting smells seduce the diner at Marinades. Regarded by those in the know as not just the best Indian in Cairns but as one of the better restaurants, too. The front opens onto the street but a metre above it, inside this disparity of levels continues and this combined with the strongloy angled wall make the space distinctive. The colour scheme is a golden yellow and creamy brown. In 03 prices are around $18 a dish. Very good feeling and food.
