Mietta's Review
Despite the steady and sometimes roaring trade, the service never seems to suffer. Staff are polite and intelligently attentive, the food varied and usually good. Best food in this little dining strip. Lots of footpath tables with comfortable chairs. Good for pre or post cinema needs.

Courier-Mail Good Life Restaurant Guide 2006 "The delicate scent of fresh roses greets diners at Cafe Citrus, which has been run by the Perry family for the past couple of years. It is one of Bulimba's most popular restaurants, packed every day, with diners spilling out on to the wide footpath"

Brisbane News Eating Out Guide 2006 "Located in the heart of the arty end of the street, this noshery is packed with the crowds who frequent the nearby cinema."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "Although there's more seating inside than out, a footpath position is the prime one, and wait staff juggling several plates at a time have learnt to nimbly dodge those people strolling past and to pick their way through the comfy, wide chairs to the tables on the outer rim. Despite the constant trade, service always seems cheerful and orompt, and the food varied and fresh."

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2004 "A stalwart in the area, Citrus serves up interesting fare and fine coffee."
