Mietta's Review
The legal fraternity have made this smart modern restaurant/wine bar their own. Some prefer the comfort of the plush banquettes while others opt for the plainer bistro setting at the back. Good modern food is assisted by a well chosen wine list. Prices are less than the setting would suggest. In 06 mains averaged $26.

Other published opinions

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 Score: 14/20 "Long a popular watering hole for the legal fraternity in the heartland of justice, the Grosvenor Hotel has been refurbished in recent years"

Brett Debritz, 20-7-06 "So, after a decade or two's absence, there I was, standing at the gleaming modern bar along with an old uni friend and a colleague who became engaged in lively debate about matters of topical concern with a Minister of the Crown. That's the kind of place the Grosvenor has become: one where people of note hang out and talk the talk."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 "The Grosvenor pub is a stone's throw from the shiny new Brisbane Magistrates Court, so it's not surprising that plenty in the legal fraternity can be found in close conversation in the cool charcoal environs of this restaurant."

Brisbane News Eating Out Guide 2006 "You might just bump into your lawyer here, as it's a favourite haunt with legal eagles and those after a sophisticated atmosphere and reasonably priced food."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "you're always likely to find plenty of potential members of the judiciary there at lunch time, quaffing glasses of wine and nestled into the high backed banquettes or tucked into bistro style tables at the rear of the room."

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2004 "This sleek space is a haven for legal eagles, and it's often hard to find a seat later in the week. The menu is updated regularly"
