Before Christmas 05 Mark Kennedy, late of Joseph Alexanders, took over Lat 27 from Brad and Angelica Jolly. He has softened the room and added a grand piano - this will certainly distance the new from the old. The food is modern Australian with elaborate descriptions though perhaps lacking the distinction it once had. The back section of the restaurant has glimpses of the Story Bridge through the new apartment buildings and an attractive clean modern interior with a smart table clothed setting.
