Mietta's Review
Goodbye Jimmy G's Oyster Bar hello Ciccio's Pasta Bar. The new venture still retains the plentiful corrugated iron of the previous owner but there the comparisons stop. Cheap and cheerful pasta is now the go. It's pitched at the mortgage encumbered residents of the flotilla of new multi-storey apartments that line the Brisbane River, below. Large servings and in 06 mains averaged $16.90.

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 "Cheap and cheerful best describes this simple Italian trattoria with a traditional menu of pasta, pizzas and veal and chicken main courses."

Brisbane News Eating Out Guide 2006 "Upper Adelaide Street's dining hub has taken a casual turn, with the addition of a traditional Sicilian eatery. The interior sets the relaxed mood"

Courier-Mail GoodLife Restaurant Lizzie Loel 27/9/05 score Food: 12 Wine: 14 Service: 14 Ambience: 13 "Ciccio's ... offers an array of old-style Italian dishes, pizzas and pasta. The rustic interior of corrugated iron-clad walls is much the same as when the place was an oyster bar modelled on the shacks on Moreton Bay oyster leases."
