His restaurant serves pasta and lots of it. Its capacity is huge, with a large courtyard area as well as a loft. On week-end nights it fills several times over, often with parties or groups of young people on their way out for a night on the town. This is probably partly due to its selection of banquet menus. It is also a good place for families, offering very generous servings at reasonable prices. Not surprisingly, there is very little finesse and probably not much authenticity, about the food but that's not what the clientele are there for. Advertising 33 different types of pasta, with its friendly and efficient staff, Avanti does what it does very well indeed.
