Mietta's Review
Set up for tourists with all the artefacts (old saddles, branded calves skins, corrugated iron) and with a formula menu to serve large numbers. There are two big rooms each with fireplace and staff running everywhere ladling out soup from buckets and ferrying fry pans with massive steaks. Food takes a while to come and service is busy but rarely where you want it. The steaks are good, the vegies fresh. The relationship to the outback, if any, is that of a large barn and about as personal.
