SMH Good Living Helen Greenwood 8/1/05 "The bold interior is the giveaway. Huge black aluminium-framed windows are folded back to let in the warm evening air. The decor is a palette of vigorous colours, violet, Moroccan green, watermelon and wine red. Backlit panels of photographs of lemons, chillis and ruby grapefruit punctuate a wall on one side of the room. The tables and chairs are black and the waiters similarly attired. Out of 10: Food 6 The little things on the side often work better than the main things on the plate. Atmosphere 9 Fresh and fun, bold like a brasserie, but with intimate spots, too. Service 8 Friendly, frequent and solicitous, but some of the niceties are overlooked. Value 8 About $110 for two without wine."
