It's still the same wine bar-restaurant that Stan Sarris and Rodney Adler opened in 1998, except the owners have changed, and the banc has become banq. Apart from that, the decor is the same - from the button tiles on the floor to the patterned banquette with squashed loops (like a surrealist version of the base of wine bottles). Almost every wall is filled with wine racks, though it must be said they're a bit light on. The new owner, Sean Jones, was the original manager, and he's back because he felt it "almost my civic duty" to run a wine bar in a city this size."
