Mietta's Review
A big, in all sences, Sydney scene. The design is so over-the-top the views are completely upstaged. But who needs a view when you're surrounded by so many beautiful young things enjoying themselves. How, one asks, can something so hot be cool? Good drinks and considering the number reasonable management.

Other published opinions

Sydney Morning Herald Kelsey Munro, 22-9-2008 "It is not, of course, the Loft's fault, no more than a certain notorious Olympic swimming team incident that occurred here in March was its fault. However, it may say something about the Darling Harbour bar's usual crowd when, less than 15 minutes after we have taken a generous couple of lounges on the closed-in balcony, a thin girl in a fascinator and implausibly high heels totters up, followed by a jockey in racing silks"

SMH Good Food Guide 2005 Best Bars "Maybe it's the low light, soft couches and great sunsets. It probably has something to dc with the quality drinks. Whatever it is, this place exudes a 'hello ladies' vibe that can't be beat."

Sydney Eats 2005 Best Bars "For a year or so now, these have been among the favourite drinking spots of the twentysomething professional crowd. Getting in, therefore, can often be a fairly precarious exercise."

SMH, good living, 16/12/03, Guy Griffin,'the interior is Flinstones-in-the-kasbah, with caveman earth tones, leather ottomans and a marine message in the exoctic beaded lanterns...Food isn't really the point at Loft but you have a choice of hot and cold tapas.'

SMH, good living, 9/9/03, Kate Duthie,'Beutiful staff, wonderful people and not a dusty corner in sight.'
