Mietta's Review
This restaurant which specialising in northeastern Thai dishes is very popular with Thai students and local business people. It's an unadorned white room with blonde tables and chairs and a constant crowd of customers. Try the boat noodle soup with beef or pork, or the suck soup. Good squid or prawn salad too.

Other published opinions

Sydney Eats 2008 "With a smarty-pants name that could be a descriptor for this part of Chinatown, this busy eatery is lit like a bus station and has a turnover to match"

Sydney Eats 2006 "This is another editor's favourite, tucked beneath the Seidler apartment block (we won't hold that against them) and offering seriously good Thai food at startlingly low prices (nothing over $11)"

Sydney Morning Herald By Helen Greenwood, 26-5-2006 " Food Much better than average Thai food with dishes for those who want to go "authentic". Service This is about delivering the food fast without spilling it and without pampering. Atmosphere A brightly lit and almost unadorned room alerts you that this is a canteen. Value "

SBS Eating Guide to Sydney 2005 " It's cheap, quick and really authentic. 'Everyone mentions it, young and old,' says our Thai scout Sunita Patradoon. Favourites here are catfish salad with papaya, which comes recommended by camera assistant Sam Beattie."

Sydney Eats 2005 "this joint supplies above-average renditions of northeastern Thai dishes to local bizoids and hordes of Thai students. The stark white room with blond wood tables and chairs is a simple backdrop to the busy throng of customers."

SMH, good living, 23/9/03, Pat Nourse,' One of a handful of totally authentic Thai eateries in town and one of the cheapest.'
