Mietta's Review
Good northern cooking in a large Chinese restaurant. All the traditional cold-cuts, lots of dumplings, hand-made noodles and, of course, Peking Duck. A big bland room which one enters from an unimposing shopping centre gives no hint of the quality of the food. Good friendly service that copes with non-Asians as well as its large Chinese clientele.

SBS Eating Guide to Sydney 2005 " 'This is dumpling heaven!' says our food-loving friend Anthony Wong. 'A reason in itself to move to Castlecrag!' he adds. Here you'll find scores of Chinese families and friends happily tucking into everything from Peking duck to snake beans with pork mince, jellyfish and other northern Chinese cold cuts."

Sydney Eats 2005 "Northern Chinese normally means lots of noodles, dumplings and, of course, duck. But as this place reminds us, it also means lots of unusual cold cuts, best represented here by entrees like jellyfish and drunken chicken (vegetable rolls and seafood salad also feature) $12-$15."
