Mietta's Review
A slick Italian restaurant in the CastleTowers' Piazza. Warm, encompassing welcome and service from owner Andrew Scarano. This is not one of your run-of-the-mill pizza and pasta places, nor are the prices with mains nudging $30. The dishes just manage to stay on the Italian side of modern Australian.

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2009 Score: 12/20 "To the side of a huge mall, on a busy road surrounded by food chain outlets, sits a refuge from all the action outside. Young, enthusiastic waiters, a tasteful woodpanelled interior, elegant leather chairs and white-linen-covered tables further soften the mood"

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2008 Score: 12/20 "In a suburban shrine to commercial consumption, Euro Lounge knows how to satisfy most desires. Everyone heads for the seductive, candle-lit room for king prawns, lobster ravioli and red wine sauces of unrepentant richness"

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2007 Score: 12/20 "Castle Towers has a restaurant to suit everyone, which is lucky, given that just about everyone s here every night. The trendoids and special-occasion seekers make a beeline for Euro Lounge, a dimly lit restaurant with dark-timber floors and white- linen tablecloths."

Sydney Eats 2006 "The piazza in the enormous Castle Towers shopping complex has more than a few good eateries, with Euro Lounge one of the slickest. The menu is a mix of rustic Italian cooking and mod oz classics and there are always appetising daily specials"

SMH GFG 2004, Score 13/20, And-the bar is cool, too,'relatively new, raucous and sexy diner offers the Italian of the New World rather than the old...It's a good looking space...Relax with one of the good wines by the glass and succumb to service that is more family friendly than too cool for school.'

Sydney Eats 2005 "Much classier than your average restaurant in a shopping complex, Euro Lounge is a good choice for affordable, city-slick dining."

SMH, Good Living, Good eating, 4/2/03, Matthew Evans, Score 13/20. Opened in late 2002, shows a lot of promise. "...decent Italianesque food, Eurolounge is a welcome addition to Castle Hill. The service lacks city slickness, but is ever-present and understanding."
