Mietta's Review
If you want three star comfort don't bother to come to Cabramatta to eat. But here you'll find Vietnamese food at its very best. It has a canteen like atmosphere, and service may require a lot of waving and gesticulating. The menu is enormous and includes a few Chinese dishes too. It is very easy to over order, as it all looks so enticing, beware. This restaurant is also at 52a John St, Cabramatta, 9727 9729 and at 111 King Street, Newtown, 9557 1175

Sydney Eats 2006 "Angie Hong's eateries embody both ends of the scale in Cabramatta's thriving Viet food trade. While both offer a huge menu and share items like caramelised pork in claypot and roast duck and salad, both $15, John Street's the original"

SBS Eating Guide to Sydney 2005 "At the main Cabramatta restaurant try the barbecued beef with vermicelli, prawn salad and chao tom (prawn paste on sugar cane) served with rice noodle cakes. There's also bo quanh lua hong-marinated, barbecued beefand steamboats."

SMH Good Food Guide 2005 "feels as if it's straight from downtown Saigon ... An authentic gem."

Sydney Eats 2005 "In Cabramatta there's so much competition for the Vietnamese crown, but what makes Angie Hong's restaurant stand out is the bold flavours and range of choice, not to mention the Hanoi fish $20."

SMH GFG 2004,Score 13/20,'The room is spare and crowded with customers slurping pho and bun noodle soups, and other meal-in-a-bowl dishes based on congee and udon noodles...Delicious.'
