Up the northern end of Bondi you will find a plethora of out of the way, local inhabited cafes, but look a bit further and you will find Raw Bar. A great Japanese beach restaurant with huge windows that open onto a spectacular view of the water. The Bento dinner box is a great buy. Very popular in summer.
