Mietta's Review
An independent Belgian beer palace. It swaps the mountain of Belgian bric-a-brac for a more intimate feeling than the others. Fully opening French doors include the footpath in the fun and the marble bar is as good a place as any to slop a bit of beer (not too much though, unless you're rich). Specialities are Moules (of course), the rabbit and a vast array of Belgian beers.

SBS Eating Guide to Sydney 2005 "The owner of this Belgian-style brasserie is a former Hilton chef who comes from Antwerp-hence the connection. 'It has very much the same theme as the French-Belgian brasseries in Sydney,' says Dutch broadcaster Mathilde Swift, 'but it is a little more intimate and cosy' "

SMH Good Living Bars Kate Duthie 14/9/04 "And so to Bondi Beach, home of Belgian restaurant and bar, Brabo. It may lack the regulation Belgian brasserie look favoured by its rivals, Cammeray's Epoque and the city's Heritage and Redoak, yet is still packed when we arrive on a Friday night. The mild weather allows the bifold doors at the front to open the bar right onto the pavement. Inside is along marble-topped L-shaped bar, backed by a mirrored wall lined with shelves heaving under the weight of the myriad Belgian beers available here."
