Mietta's Review
There is a Bruno, he's Swiss and has been making his delicious chocolate truffles in Canberra since 1984 along with breads, pastries and cakes. A bit like Heinz, he makes 53 varieties of chocolates and 19 types of truffle. He is proud of his truffles and sends them back home to Switzerland! Prices are cheap for the quality. Bruno's also serve tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Other published opinions

Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2009 "Swiss chocolatier and pastry chef Bruno Ehrensperger has spoiled us for 25 years with exquisite hand-made truffles (try the dark chocolate rum)"

Canberra Times Catriona Jackson, 28-06-06 "Bruno's now has a full cafe! restaurant-style menu, with daily specials and numerous breakfast and lunch options. The food is mostly in modem Australian style with Swiss influences (kangaroo fillet comes with potato roesti, salmon with eggs). Moving from Narrabundah to Mawson in 2004 gave Bruno Ehrensperger space to expand. ... Half of Bruno's airy store is the. bakery and chocolate display, the other side the restaurant/cafe, fitted out with a communal table surrounded by padded stools, plenty of conventional tables and sunny outside seats."

SMH Good Food Guide 2006 "Great rye bread, custard-filled pastries and terrific pasties are a bonus at Canberra's finest chocolatier."
