Mietta's Review
A corner position in Manuka with big fold-back windows give this two-level restaurant, with its distressed walls and strong white ceiling, a light airy feeling. The front of house is run by an unusually large number of young, slightly disheveled staff, whose main skill seems to be familiarity, with the customers that is, not the days dishes. But this isn't a place where food is not the main reason to visit - you go for the inclusive slightly 'party' atmosphere and because it's convenient and reliable. The food is nominally Italian, with a reliance of cream in many of the pasta sauces and where chicken means the breast, boned - not cutting edge but then neither are the prices which are competitive (mains sub $25).
