Mietta's Review
Built in 1909, the old station retains some of the original fittings but much less of the property - it was a 5000 acre sheep property, now it appars to run factories, not sheep. close to the city, a popular place for Sunday lunch.

Canberra Times Karen Downing, 26-07-06 "HISTORIC Hill Station was built in 1909 and has been enjoyed as a restaurant and function centre for many years. The original homestead of rammed earth construction, pressed metal ceilings and wide verandas was empathetically restored and extended in the 1980s. The building itself is very appealing and it, and the grounds, have been tenderly maintained. We are in one of the front rooms of the original house surrounded by interesting bric-abrac in glass cases and an intriguingly crooked door (the request of a superstitious Chinese cook when the homestead was being built)."
