Canberra Times Karen Downing, 6-09-06 "ON MY first visit to the Homestead Cafe at Gooromon Park, the enthusiasm and energy of a newly opened establishment was very evident. A wonderful mix of country hospitality and interesting food and wines, with an emphasis on local produce, made the trip to Hall very worthwhile. ... But on this day, I felt there was a weariness about the place. Where previously the staff were understandably busy, but efficient and hospitable, today they are inexplicably harried, forgetful and almost off-hand."
