One very long table is waiting for its group and the restaurant fills up quickly as we contemplate the menu. Friday nights are popular at A Bite to Eat, a Drink as Well. We are seated at a fine example of a 1950s laminex and chrome dining suite, the only one of its kind in an array of tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery where nothing matches. The menu is similarly eclectic."
