Mietta's Review
There is a pleasant sense of remove from the city and the Casino nearby as you enter. The entrance is to the side and visibility from the street is limited. Within the service is pleasant and the wine list offers a very good range, including local wines and an interesting selection by the glass. The room is dominated by two prow like serving stations down the centre. Their boat shapes, rock and shell display distract you from the long narrow nature of the room and from the blue speckled carpet, black chairs with patterned seats and blue columns. Oysters are a feature here and there are daily changing varieties on offer. Favourite dishes include roast guinea fowl, braised fennel,orange and juniper jus. The Twilight Dinner from 6-8pm offers exceptional value with two courses and a glass of wine
