Canberra Times Karen Downing, 17-01-07 "Fresh food, expertly prepared. Shogun's teppanyaki is a fun, tasty and non-confronting introduction to Japanese cuisine. ... Teppanyaki is not traditional Japanese. This style of cooking beef, seafood and vegetables on a hotplate in front of customers was invented in Tokyo in 1945 but made famous in the United States by the Benihana chain which added a show to impress American customers. Utensils are juggled, prawns flipped into pockets, egg tossed into waiting mouths. Shogun's presentation is modest, but still worthwhile."
