Walk past sacks of rice, shelves of spices and Indian things to take the stairs to the dining area above the Indian grocery and video store. The kitchen has a tandoor oven, cooking a range of tandoori as well as southern Indian and Sri Lankan curries, vegetable and dahl dishes. The food and service have a simple home-style feel to them. If booking ahead ask for a 'hopper', the Sri Lankan version of naan which needs ordering in advance. It is a batter like bread, sometimes flavoured, and cooked in a very small sealed wok like pan.
